Field Sales Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a KnowledgeLake Field Sales Engineer, you will utilize your technical
and sales skills to assist the Regional Sales Manager with exceeding
overall revenue targets and sales objectives. You will be an integral
part of the entire sales process, using all resources available to you
to win the business.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Build customized product demonstrations for KnowledgeLake’s products and solutions
- Perform presentations, demos, and technical whiteboards of KnowledgeLake’s solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Competently explain and present Microsoft Sharepoint
components and features
- Build product demos that include MS Sharepoint components
- Learn the differences between MS Sharepoint and competitive offerings from companies such as EMC/Documentum, IBM/FileNet , Oracle, etc.
- Identify customer’s needs and sales opportunities to maximize and grow sales
- Provide technical sales assistance to the entire sales team
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and/or certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in this position
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
Knowledge & Skills required:
- 4+ Years of Experience in progressively challenging technical
roles developing, deploying, or supporting applications
- Ability to assist with the entire sales lifecycle, including Needs Analysis, Design, and Demonstration of KnowledgeLake
applications within the Microsoft Information Worker environment
- Programming experience using Microsoft .NET technologies, ASP.NET, and a well rounded experience in several Microsoft and database products
- Strong ability to assist clients with business requirements
for their SharePoint and Office System based solutions
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Information Worker and Office System products and principals

Inside Sales Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a KnowledgeLake Inside Sales Engineer, you will utilize your inside
sales skills to assist the Field Sales team with exceeding overall
revenue targets and sales objectives by generating and qualifying new
leads. You will identify sales opportunities from inbound calls, web and
email inquires, campaigns, conference attendees, and prospect
database(s).
Activities will include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving inbound sales calls from customers, answering questions and qualifying opportunities, prior to engaging the Regional Sales Manager
- Calling, qualifying and developing new leads as they pertain to the KnowledgeLake sales strategy
- Maintaining relations with the KnowledgeLake VAR base within your assigned territory
- Increase the independent VAR channel by recruiting new customers and partners
- Working with the Field Sales team to better communicate with the resellers and customer base
- Helping to educate KnowledgeLake partners on how to successfully position and sell our products
- Assisting with order entry activities including, but not limited to: order entry, order inquiries and follow-up shipment scheduling, daily/weekly/monthly order tracking/reporting
Job Requirements:
- Ability to explain complex, technology based, business solutions to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Strong interpersonal and phone prospecting skills
- Ability to clearly articulate product information to potential customers
- Strong competitive spirit and a desire to succeed as a member of a team
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent organizational skills including use of a CRM system
- Team player that demonstrates good decision-making and analytical skills
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint and/or the Enterprise Content Management industry
- Knowledge of any Document Capture and/or Document Imaging product, i.e. Kofax, Captiva, Documentum, IBM Content Manager, FileNet, Hyland OnBase, Laserfiche, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Live Meeting and CRM, or equivalent
- Experience in an Inside Sales or Sales Support role

Regional Sales Manager
We are seeking energetic, excited, professional candidates to help us
manage our explosive growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, recruit, and train new reseller partners and manage these partners to create repeatable sales processes
- Working with the channel partners, proactively hunt for new business through the assigned territory, industries, and accounts
- Interact with End User Customers and Prospects at Customer site, Partner meetings, and related trade shows and conferences
- Pursue qualified opportunities to sell both Software Products and Professional Services directly to end users
- Manage opportunities through a CRM system
Knowledge & Skills required:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong history of developing channel and/or direct sales
- Strong solutions sales & negotiation skills
- Ability to prepare and present high quality business presentations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including technical presentation and demonstration skills
- Knowledge of the Enterprise Content Management industry
- Knowledge of Document Capture and Document Imaging products
