KnowledgeLake Recognized for Success in EMEA with Two Document Manager Awards

Since 2007, the Document Manager Awards has been the UK’s Document and Content Management’s most prestigious awards event to recognize the best companies and products the industry has to offer, worldwide.

Microsoft Central Region Partner Award

The Microsoft Partner Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the past year. Awards are given in a number of categories, with winners and finalists chosen from a pool of almost 3,000 entrants worldwide. The Information Worker Solutions, Enterprise Content Management Partner of the Year Award honors exceptional partners who have excelled in offering breakthrough content management solutions. This award recognizes KnowledgeLake for increasing their customers’ employee productivity, simplifying their access to information and people, and enabling a more effective workforce.

Microsoft West Region Excellence in Competency Partner Award

This award recognizes Microsoft partners that identify new ways to improve profitability, deepen partnerships and streamline operations. These partners readily share their ideas and best practices, and demonstrate exceptional partner expertise or competency in a specific industry, vertical, solution or segment.

KnowledgeLake worked with Microsoft to win keys accounts in the retail and healthcare industries. The retail solution was a consolidation of several different ECM repositories for Inventory Receiving and Accounts Payable into one KnowledgeLake solution using SharePoint. The healthcare solution was a competitive win and provides an ECM solution for managing patient records.

2010 Microsoft U.S. Public Sector Partner of the Year

The award honors KnowledgeLake's innovative use of Microsoft technology in support of the Kentucky Housing Corporation. Winners and finalists were nominated and selected by Microsoft’s U.S. Public Sector team working throughout the nation.

The Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/Software Solutions Partner of the Year award recognizes the ISV/Software Solutions competency partners who excel at developing and delivering packaged software to customers.

The Information Worker Solutions, Enterprise Content Management and Forms Development Partner of the Year award recognizes exceptional partners who have excelled in offering breakthrough Microsoft Office system solutions.

ECM Connections Ace Award Winner

ECM Connection's ACE Awards recognize vendors that are making extra efforts to promote the education and adoption of enterprise content management technologies within specific markets beyond their overall horizontal offerings. This year’s finalists were identified by ECM Connection subscribers and visitors through an online voting process that concluded on March 16th. ECM Connection recognized 18 finalists broken into 4 software categories (banking/finance, compliance, government, and healthcare), and 3 imaging hardware categories (ultra-high volume, high volume, and low volume). One winner was announced in each category during a special awards ceremony held in the Channel Connection Pavilion at the AIIM International Conference and Expo in Philadelphia on Wednesday, April 1 at 3:00 pm (ET). KnowledgeLake won the Ace Award for their ECM solutions in healthcare.

People's Choice Award

Microsoft’s Ingenuity Point Contest is a worldwide competition open to independent software vendors (ISVs) that build solutions on Microsoft technology with the potential to address some of the world’s biggest challenges in the areas of education, healthcare and environmental sustainability. The year-long competition showcases examples of how technology can drive positive change and provides ISVs with a unique opportunity to give their groundbreaking ideas international exposure.

Best of Tech Ed

KnowledgeLake Capture was named “Best of Tech Ed 2007” Winner by Windows IT Pro, SQL Server Magazine and Office & SharePoint Pro.com The Judges reviewed over 260 IT Products and services submitted for the contestand chose 45 finalists to be interviewed at Tech Ed in Orlando, FL. Winners were announced on June 6 at an evening reception at the Peabody Hotel Orlando. 

“While we had many worthy products, the winners clearly demonstrated their products strategic importance to the market, it’s competitive advantages and the value they provide to customers.” said Karen Forester, Group Editorial and Strategic Director.

Since identified as a partner taking advantage of Microsoft Office System KnowledgeLake has gained maximum exposure to its solutions via the Microsoft extranet by featuring their products on the Solution Showcase for the 2007 Office system. KnowledgeLake receives worldwide exposure in both customer and partner directories. This allows KnowledgeLake the ability promote their organization’s solutions and skills to potential customers and other Microsoft partners throughout the Microsoft.com site.
