KnowledgeLake enables customers to migrate mission critical IBM FileNet content to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
Seattle, WA – March 2, 2008 – KnowledgeLake Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies, today announced the release of the KnowledgeLake Content Migration Suite (CMS) for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
KnowledgeLake CMS is a suite of applications designed to provide a structured and auditable migration process for loading high volumes of electronic content from legacy ECM systems directly into SharePoint Server 2007. The true value of CMS however lies not only in the technology itself, but in the proven high-volume migration methodologies designed and used by KnowledgeLake’s Business Solutions Group (BSG).
KnowledgeLake is initially launching the Content Migration Suite (CMS) specifically targeting IBM FileNet repositories. In the coming months additional offerings for many other legacy repositories that have already been developed and tested will be released.
At the core of the CMS product is KnowledgeLake’s highly prized intellectual property for high-speed content loading to SharePoint Server 2007. CMS is already in use with customers and most recently used for Microsoft internal scalability testing on FileNet content migration. The results of the testing were dramatic resulting in 2.5 million documents a day per SharePoint Server 2007 Front End. The testing proved that Microsoft and KnowledgeLake exceed the ECM scalability requirements for any enterprise organization.
